Since you've gotten to see the "best of the best," it's only fair that you get to see what else landed on the cutting room floor.
One of our first attempts at our group photo. The girls are completely camera ready while Dan isn't smiling at all and Miller is in his own little world.

Since our earlier attempts at a group photo failed miserably, and since they were having such a great time playing on the reindeer, Thea Caro had the idea that Dan and I should get behind them and try for our group shot this way. Here's how well that grand plan turned out. (No reflection, of course, on Thea!)
One more try for the group picture. Lorelai wasn't cooperating as we had been at this for over 1 1/2 hours so we bribed her with the promise of candy. This is the smile we got from her. Unfortunately, we couldn't bribe Miller and by this time he was pretty much finished with having his picture made.
Would've been a really good picture if he'd actually been looking at the camera.
