Those Adorable Jacob Cousins

One weekend while Lisa was away Rob brought Sierra and Chase over to play. I have tons of pictures of them playing, but these are the only really good shots I have of them actually looking at the camera.

Bubblegum Bouncer

Our precious angel bouncing on the bed with a smile that speaks volumes (and one kind of scary face at the bottom).

Birthday Banners and Braids

Lorelai's daycare makes sure that each child's birthday is very special. Here is the sign that Ms. Erin made for Lorelai. Here's the Birthday Girl posing in front of the sign after we hung it on her bedroom door. For some reason she wanted to wear this winter nightgown in August.

With these braids she looks like something straight out of Little House on the Prairie.

Monkey See, Monkey Do

A while back, Miller was wearing his adorable monkey shirt and plaid shorts. (One of my favorite outfits on him.) Of course Lorelai couldn't resist modeling them and they fit perfectly. No surprise there!

Teddy Bear Picnic

Lorelai and Miller had a Teddy Bear Picnic at school. Lorelai took her multi-colored bear from Build-A-Bear and Miller took his screeching monkey from Monkey Joe's.

I love this picture of her. Have you ever seen a little girl happier to go to school?

When the monkey screeches it always makes him laugh.

Time for a little snuggle.
We didn't have lunch boxes for the picnic so we decided to brown-bag it. I tried my best to dress them up.

Fairy Photo Frenzy

It took me 55 tries to get an acceptable (by my standards) picture for Lorelai's birthday invitation. Here is the invitation and several of the attempts that wound up on the cutting room floor.

The finished product.
Dan's favorite because it showed off her dimple. He wanted to use this one for the invitation but he got outvoted.

My favorite. Lorelai and I made the final decision to use this one on the invitation.
Ma's favorite.
Happily posing.

Looks like she's letting out a little frustration.
Our sassy little girl.
