Hello, Hello?

Dan was playing in a fantasy football game this weekend and he was wearing a headpiece to communicate with his opponent. Lorelai wanted to get in on the action, but she had trouble keeping the headphones on at first. Eventually Dan stepped in and gave her a helping hand. Perhaps she has a career in radio ahead of her.

All Tangled Up

Lorelai is in a bit of a streaker phase. She loves trying to take her shirts off and pull her pants down. This weekend while trying to remove her pajama shirt she got a bit more than she bargained for. Here is the result of her attempted escape act. My good friend, Beth, said she ended up looking very Grecian. Hope you enjoy this picture of our own little Greek goddess. :)

Silly Rabbit...

...Trix are for kids. Lorelai loves Trix yogurt and decided she wanted to feed herself last night. Here are the fruits of her labor. Sorry the quality isn't great. They were taken on my cell phone as our camera is still MIA.

None to Speak Of

I have absolutely no new (or old, for that matter) pictures to post. I haven't taken any pictures since the castle was assembled. Also, we moved last week and are just now settling into our new apartment, so taking pictures hasn't been top on my priority list. Guess I need to reexamine said list. :) I hope to take some pictures in the very near future-as soon as I can find the camera, that is. Thanks for your patience.

A Castle for Our Princess

Grandma and Pap gave Lorelai a Princess castle for Christmas. When assembled it takes up close to half of our bonus room. Dan was kind enough to put it up so that Lorelai could play in it for a few weeks before we move. She loved it!

Here's Dan putting it together. It gave him some difficulty, but he triumphed in the end. Showcasing the light feature surrounding the front entrance.

A close-up of the builder in his project.
Talking on her Princess phone.
Like father, like daughter.
Climbing out of one of the windows. Not exactly its intended purpose, but try to tell her that!! :)
The smile that made all of the hard work worth it.

From Hobo to Happy Lady

A few weekends ago we were driving somewhere (I forget the exact location) and Lorelai was eating in the car. I put her ginormous bib on her so she wouldn't ruin her outfit and since it was a bit chilly I put her hood up on the way to the car. Usually she immediately removes her hood, but for some reason this time she left it up. In all honesty I think she looks a bit like a hobo with her hood up and a poncho on.

Of course by the time we got to our location she had taken off her bib and hood. Apparently she found something hilarious so I snapped a few pictures of her giggling.

Back in Business

Many apologies for being so slack in the updating department. On top of not feeling so hot, I've alluded to many of you that the software on our computer was not Amy-compatible. Well, my fabulous husband finally reinstalled a program I'm familiar with. Hallelujah!! That having been said, I will be updating more frequently. Hope you enjoy them all!! Please feel free to post comments. I love them!

Ringing in the New Year

Her fancy 2009 hat she made at day care.Holding her hat and shaker, which she also made at daycare.

It looks like she's drinking from a twisty straw but she's just chewing on the ribbon from her shaker.
After she ripped the year off, she put it back on and it fell right down. Now instead of a headband, it's a blindfold. Don't you just love versatile accessories?! :)

Christmas 2008

This year we celebrated Christmas for three days, counting Christmas Eve Mass. First, we began Christmas morning with a pancake and bacon breakfast. Here's one little girl who was ready to eat her special treat. On Christmas day we went to my parents' house to open gifts and have dinner. My brother was in town and he brought his huge coon hound with him all the way from Massachusetts. Here's Lorelai holding the dog's bowl and peeking out for any sign of him. Sadly she never did warm up to him. :( Maybe next time.

William got lots of "Transformer" paraphrenalia for Christmas. Craig tried to transform some of them for him.
William worked on them, too.

Guess who couldn't be left out of the fun?!
Lorelai kept taking the CDs off of the rack and became quite disgruntled when we tried to reprimand her.
Aunt Laura gave Lorelai a huge frog.
Even Dan wanted to give it a hug.
She's probably trying to feed it her cookies.
Resting on her new "pillow."
Our girl will turn anything into a purse, even a Christmas gift bag.
Gnawing on the drumsticks my parents gave her.
Attempting to use the drumsticks more appropriately.
Daddy showing her how it's done.
The day after Christmas we went to Grandma and Pap's to have dinner and open gifts. Sierra enjoyed playing with Lorelai's gifts that we brought to show from the day before.
Lorelai ripping into her gifts.
A Curious George almost as big as she is.
Sierra taking a peek at her new storybooks.
Lorelai loves "Little Einsteins." Here she is doing "Blastoff!"
The Penguins were playing on the night of our planned festivities, so once the celebration was complete Dan watched them play online.
Lisa and Chase opening his gifts.
A precious trio.
The best seat in the house-Pap's lap. With the scalloped edges on the pillow Pap kind of looks like an angel.
Baby Lailai and Chase.
What a sweet face!
Chillin' out with Uncle Dan.
Sierra and Lorelai decided to try Chase's Santa hat on for size.
A perfect fit.
