Lorelai brought home her first official arts and crafts project from school!! She made a bat headband just in time for my favorite holiday. Hooray!!
As you can see I tried to keep both of her hands full-her "nite nite" in one and her juice in the other-so she would have something else to focus on besides taking her headband off. Since she's all about sharing everything right now, she immediately tried to give me her juice.
Rethinking her generous offer.

When One's Just Not Enough
The first two pictures in this post don't really pertain to the title, but I just thought they were cute and wanted to include them anyway.
Our precious angel with that "deer in the headlights" look.
Now there's the fun-loving girl we know and love.

Say "Cheese"
Lorelai is actually sitting still for the camera, looking in the the right direction, and waiting until the flash goes off before proceeding with her desired activity. Finally!! Won't ruin these cute pictures with captions.

Bits & Pieces
Lorelai got some really cute Halloween pajamas from my mom. Since she is quite the little mover and shaker now, it's kind of difficult to get a "still portrait" of her. I wanted to take a picture of her new outfit though, so I took pictures of the individual embellishments that made it stand out.

Bespectacled
We've always thought that William looks an awful lot like his dad (my little brother), Craig. If he didn't favor him enough in the past, he certainly does now. He got glasses last week and he is the spitting image of his dad.

Cousins Catching Up
Last weekend my mom, Lorelai, and I went to visit my cousin Sarah and her two precious girls, Grace and Elizabeth. Sarah and I have birthdays 3 weeks apart and practically grew up together. Hopefully our girls will grow up the same way, especially since they live so close to one another.
On the way to Sarah's house I managed to sneak a bow into Lorelai's hair. I kept her hands busy by giving her an over-sized straw to play with and gnaw on. By the time we got there though, she had removed the unwanted object and given it to me. We'll keep trying. :)

Miss Grace, looking gorgeous in her bold stripes.

A Skunk on the Loose
My good friend Jamie is an amateur photographer. Last weekend she took some fabulous pictures of Landon in his Halloween costume. He is too precious for words. Enjoy!!

Funky Fashionista
Ah, to be a kid again. When else can you wear a "polo" type dress and Converse high tops without being mocked mercilessly on the streets? :) I think she looks precious; the perfect combination of preppy and sporty.

Such a Big Girl
Well, it's official, our little girl is growing up. She was promoted to the toddler room at school and she's starting to blow kisses. Everyday it's something new!

Katie, JJ, and Hank
Back in September, Dan's cousin Katie gave birth to a precious baby boy named Henry-AKA Hank. This is a post including pictures on and before the day of his birth and the one month pictures we just received. I apologize that these pictures don't have better captions, but since I wasn't present for any of them I'm not sure what to say.
The gorgeous mother-to-be in Hank's monkey room.

Inspired by Aunt Diane
Last week Dan's Aunt Diane sent Lorelai some Penn State barrettes. For those of you that don't know Dan's affinity for the Nittany Lions, let's just say that while people in this part of our nation say that their blood runs orange or garnet, Dan's runs navy blue and white. Lorelai has never worn bows as she is a bit lacking in the hair department, but when these adorable barrettes arrived I couldn't help myself.
Here is a close-up of the barrettes since when I tried to photograph them in her head she wouldn't sit still.
My attempt of getting a picture of her wearing her new hair accessories.
**Since these pictures were taken, she has removed every barrette I've tried to put in her hair. I think the only reason she left it in at all was because both of her hands were full of toys. Perhaps eventually she will come around to wearing them.**
