Last week we took Lorelai to a small playground near our apartment. The static electricity on the plastic equipment was in full force, as is evident by her lovely hairstyle.

Retro Flair
Several weeks ago I procured some Strawberry Shortcake purses for Lorelai and Sierra. I remember all of the Strawberry Shortcake toys I had growing up and figured I might as well start this generation of Jacob girls off on the right track. :)
Getting the appropriate fit in the crook of the arm.
Giving the faux pearl handle the all-important taste test.

Irish Eyes Are Smilin'
In honor of St. Patrick's Day, I thought I'd post some pics of our little cutie in her shamrock T-shirt.
Since the weather was so nice yesterday, Lorelai got a chance to play on her swingset that she got for her birthday from Grandmother and Granddaddy. Before heading down the slide she was distracted by the dog barking at her from the apartment upstairs.
Now she's ready for the fun!

All Aboard!
Several weekends ago we went to a local model train expo. Lorelai had a great time playing with the kid-friendly train set.
Here's Daddy showing her how it's done. William trying to get in on the fun.

No Pictures to Share but...
...it appears that Lorelai will have a little brother at the end of the summer! Most of the pictures they gave me were the "between-the-legs" shots and I figured no one really cared about seeing those. The fun ones are the side views where they are sucking their thumbs, etc. and I wasn't given any of those. :( We are all very excited about our newest addition who will be completing our family. As I have been monstrously sick this go round I have determined that I am an unfit host and we will be limiting our biological brood to two. He is measuring a bit smaller than my projected due date, so it now appears that he could be born on Lorelai's birthday. Not sure how the reigning princess of the house will feel about that in years to come, but I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
