Feeding Time with the Facemaker

Lorelai loves to help with Miller in any way she can. Her favorite ways to offer assistance are to grab diapers, attempt to yank him out of the swing when he's crying, and to feed him-although sometimes she ends up trying to feed his nose or his forehead. She's an excellent little helper and here a few pictures of "feeding time" at the Jacob Ranch.

Lorelai also loves to make faces to corresponding emotions when given a prompt.

From Stylin' to Shakespeare

Our impromptu photo shoot started out very simply. Here is Miller showing off his adorable double chin.Next, we move on to the relaxed pose of kicking back with his feet in the air.

Then suddenly the mood became very Shakespearean. We begin with a scene from Romeo and Juliet: "I bite my thumb at you."

Finally, we end with his interpretation of the Greek masks comedy...

...and tragedy.

So Very Literal

Something too cute and very funny happened last week and I wanted to share it. Hope you enjoy.

While at dinner after church Grammy Anne asked Lorelai if she was a pretty girl. Lorelai answered, "No." Grammy Anne said, "You're not a pretty girl?" Lorelai answered back, "No, I'm Lorelai." :)

Further Proving My Point

As I stated in my last post, when more than one child is involved in posing for a picture it is nearly impossible to get them all looking in the same direction at the same time. Even if you do get lucky enough to have them looking the same way it's usually not at the camera. Here are a few pictures of Lorelai, Sierra, and Chase illustrating just such a phenomenon.

Giving It the Old College Try

As most of you with more than one child know, it's very difficult to get a good picture of both/all of them at the same time. This post perfectly proves my point. As a result of this cruel twist of fate, most of these pictures are of the kids posing alone.

The New Man of the House

Here are some pictures of our handsome little man after his bath time.

I love the way his hair is brushed over in this one.

After getting squeaky clean we moved to the living room for some tummy time.

Eventually he got worn out and gave up.

Can't help but adore this picture of our little man hamming it up for the camera.

Cindy Lou Who

Each day Lorelai comes home from day care with her hair in pigtails. Yesterday she was wearing a particularly cute dress and Dan couldn't get over how adorable she looked. Being the good father that he is he decided to document it. With her hair up like this I think she looks like Cindy Lou Who.

Diving Board Diva

A good friend of ours, Lorelai's Grammy Anne, is nice enough to let us come swimming at her house. She has a diving board that Lorelai loves to leap off of. Here are some pictures of our little daredevil.Ready to take the plunge.
