Ma and Her Boys

Photo op with the proud mom and her handsome sons.

Frogs and Sheep

Ma and Pap have stuffed sheep that the girls play with when they go to their house. She bought the girls these matching dresses with sheep on them to coordinate with the stuffed animals for this very special photo shoot. A few weeks ago I attended a baby shower for Lisa. I wanted to make sure Sierra had something to open, too, so my mom and I brought her a hot pink dress with frogs on it. It was precious! We bought one for Lorelai, also, and decided to have the girls photographed in matching outfits. It was close to the end of the shoot when these were taken and our little angel was getting a bit unruly. This was the only one that really turned out well.
Sierra was a much more willing participant. They were able to get solo pictures of her, as well, unlike Lorelai who barely made it through the "group" picture.

Little Bo Peep - With and Without A Sheep

Just as the title says-one picture with a lovely upside down sheep, while others simply emphasize the sheep on her dress, not to mention that adorable smile.

Ma and Her Girls

Although the objective was to get pictures of Dan, Lorelai, Rob, and Sierra, Ma managed to pose for a few photos with her precious granddaughters.

Spitting Image

As desperately as I wanted a child who looked like me, I will be the first to admit that Lorelai looks exactly like Dan in this picture. Adorable, as always! (I love that she's holding the sheep upside down!)

Always Into Something

This morning Lorelai was in the kitchen with me. There were some dishes in the sink, so I was going to tidy up and put them in the dishwasher. As I started to do this I realized it was full of clean dishes. By the time I came to this realization and was getting ready to close the door, my ever-so-mobile daughter had already made herself quite comfortable on her new perch and had begun gnawing on the contents of the silverware basket. As usual, I especially love the last picture in this post.

The Littlest Lorelai and Anna Banana

As promised, here are the pictures from our fabulous visit with Megan and Anna. This is also marks a milestone as it is our 100th post! I love the fact that this landmark post includes pictures of Megan, who is the person who inspired me to start a blog in the first place. :)

Megan and Lorelai getting reacquainted as they haven't seen each other since April.
Lorelai checking Anna out. Anna eyeing the toys in the corner.

Holding on to her "security" blanket while in this new and strange environment. It actually belongs to her older brother, Jack, but that's what sibling are for-to share!
Lorelai going in to get her hands on our wedding album which had fallen down between the end table and the coffee table. Just a moment later she fell off the side of the table when she leaned back too far. She just smiled and went back to the task at hand.
Branching out to investigate other rooms in the house. My child acting as the tour guide.
Out come the toys!

Starting to "play" together, or at least starting to show interest in the same toys.
Much to my relief, it looks like my child isn't the only one who eats inedible objects.
Katie catching Anna's attention. Notice that her tail didn't make it out of frame before I snapped the picture.
Daddy smiling while Lorelai looks at Anna and Megan.
Dan was trying to make friends while Anna wasn't having any of it.
Anna looking at Dan after Megan "rescued" her.
This looked like feeding time at the zoo. Megan held a cup of "puffs" while feeding the girls alternately. My overzealous daughter decided to be proactive and get some herself.
Eventually she tumbled off of Megan's lap. Again, she just smiled and giggled.
What a cutie! Anna had yummy blueberries for dessert.
Megan and the girls.
